CHS “Standing Room Only” Show Choir Finishes Season at Hershey Park

Thurmont, MD May 19, 2010 - Catoctin High School’s, “Standing Room Only” Show Choir finished their 1^st competitive season with a competition at Hershey Park on May 8th.  The Show Choir received 1^st Place with an Excellent Performance Rating in the “Music in the Parks” competition and Sophomore Collette Talbot received a Soloist award. 

 The Show Choir achieved success in their inaugural year and looks forward to the next competitive season.  Adding to their success was the community support they have received and they are extremely grateful.  Thank you!

 The CHS Show Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Berna LaForce, Thurmont Middle School Theater Arts Teacher, and is currently made up of 31 ninth through twelfth graders.
