L&E Construction, 204 Westview Dr., Thurmont, MD, is owned by Jim Larochelle. Jim is a general contractor who remodels houses and builds additions, decks, bathrooms, bedrooms, family rooms, offices, kitchens, etc. Jim hangs dry wall, installs spouting, replaces doors and windows, installs blacksplashes and counters, lays ceramic tile, wood, or laminate flooring; replaces or repairs roofs; lays sidewalks, concrete slabs, pavers, etc. Jim does it all!!!! Jim began his own construction company in 2002. After serving our country in the Air Force for 8 years, he began working for R. W. Bolling for 10 years doing historic remodeling and restoration in DC. He then worked for Donohoe in DC for 6 years where he was superintendent for commercial building. Jim did small jobs on the side while working in DC. Tired of the DC commute, Jim decided to expand, and launched L & E Construction.
